According to a survey conducted by the National Association of Home Builders, home builders remain confident in robust sales despite rising lumber costs and shortages in labor. For example, the cost of OSB is up over 500% since January 2020. And while rising costs make it challenging for first-time home buyers, the home builders are seeing most of the indicators staying about the same and some improving.
